In November 2009, the first-ever Inter Faith Week was held in the UK. The aims of the Week were to strengthen good inter faith relations at all levels; to increase awareness of the different and distinct faith communities in the UK, in particular celebrating and building on the contribution which their members make to their neighbourhoods and to wider society; and to increase understanding between people of religious and non-religious belief.
The second Inter Faith Week was held in November 2010. To view a sample of the events held in the region in 2009 and 2010, visit Inter Faith Week 2009 and Inter Faith Week 2010.
